How can I make files such as PDFs, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets downloadable from my Clubspaces website?


In Clubspaces v3.0 sites:

To make files downloadable from your website, first upload them to the file library, then create a link in the site that points to that file.
- Login to admin.
- Click "Edit Website".
- Click "Manage Library".
- Enter the title of the file into the "Title" field.
- Click "Browse" to locate the file on your hard drive.
- Click "Upload".
- Click "Save".

In the Content editor where you want to link the file to:
- Highlight the word or phrase you would like to use as a link.
- Click "Link Library".
- Click "Files" near the top of the page.
- Select your desired file and click "OK".
- Click "Save".

- Click "Custom Content".
- Click "Manage Library".
- Enter the title of the file into the "Title" field.
- Click "Browse" to locate the file on your hard drive.
- Click "Upload".
- Click "Save".

- Click "Link Library".
- Click "Files" near the top of the page.

To make files downloadable from your website, first upload them to the object library, then create a link in the site that points to that file.

From the "Custom Content" menu choose "Object Library"

In the Object Library
1) Click "Add Object
2) Click "Browse" to select a file to upload
3) Select a PDF, Excel, Word, or Powerpoint document
4) Enter an Object Title
5) Click "UPLOAD"

In the Content editor,
1) Highlight the word or phrase you would like to use as a link
2) Click "Link Library"
3) Click "Files" near the top of the page.
4) Select your desired file and click "OK".
5) Click "Save".
